You are a manufacturer
- when you produce packaging (empty or filled with goods) under your name or brands, or
- when you let packaging or packaged products be manufactured under your name or brands.

Your key obligations
- Labelling of packaging
- Carrying out the conformity assessment procedures for each type of packaging
- Drawing up the technical documentation and the declaration of conformity for each type of packaging
- Holding the technical documentation and declaration (5 or 10 years)
- You may appoint an EU wide Authorised Representative acting as single point of contact with the national market authorities.
